Senator Tom Cotton endorses Lee Johnson for State Representative

Thursday, March 10 – The Lee Johnson for State Representative Campaign today announced the endorsement of fellow conservative Tom Cotton, United States Senator from Arkansas.

Cotton stated “Lee is a proven conservative leader. From cutting taxes to reducing the size of government, his voting record shows his commitment to reduce the burden of government of hardworking Arkansas taxpayers. I’m proud to support him. The citizens of District 47 could not have better advocate in Little Rock.”

Johnson has served as state representative from Sebastian County since 2019. In addition to Senator Cotton, groups in the state and across the country have recognized his leadership and his conservative voting record. He has received an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association, a 100% rating from Arkansas Right to Life, and has been recognized as a “Healthcare Champion” by Americans for Prosperity.

In response Johnson stated “I am humbled by the support of Senator Cotton.

He’s a conservative leader in Washington DC. His support of my work in Little Rock underscores the importance of conservative voices in our state capitol as well. The people of Sebastian County deserve a proven conservative leader who has been in the fight. I want to stay in the fight, because the work isn’t done.”

Johnson concluded, “As a lifelong Arkansan who grew up in the River Valley, it means so much to work with leaders like Tom Cotton, another River Valley native who cares so much about the values we were raised to believe.
